Rare restored Pioneer SX-82 Looks amazing and sound wonderful, best tube amp I've ever heard! Tech repair notes List of what was done . Pioneer SX-82 Rebuild -replaced all electrolytic capacitors -replaced all coupling capacitors in preamp and power amp circuits -replaced any burnt out of spec resistors and wires -installed 4 tested good Tesla el84 power tubes — -installed screen stability resistors and 1/4w 10ohm cathode resistors for measurements and protection. -biased power tubes to run cooler. -replaced selenium rectifier with modern silicon bridge . -installed inrush current limiter thermistor -replaced dial lamps with LED -cleaned all controls -cleaned all tube pins and sockets Low or no FM/AM Fast and safe shipping.
