Description
PLEASE READ You are considering a pre-owned TechPlay TCP4530 TR Belt Drive Turntable. This is in good condition with minor wear and clean surface area. Dust cover has no cracks/breaks. Unit is functional, however the automatic return is not. The motor and mechanism responsible for that feature stopped working, and was removed due in part that it prohibited the tone arm from moving freely across the platter in manual. The plug-n-play part will be included with sale. The built in phono preamp did not appear to work in our test, but standard phono worked fine with external preamp. Most modern AV receivers have a built in pre-amp for phono use, which eliminates the need for an external. Aside from those points, it is working in a normal way with with solid speeds and full balanced clear audio. The original cart and headshell were missing and were replaced with an Acu Tex cartridge with a good tracking stylus. Comes with standard RCA cables.
