This is a killer compact sub, which was built from the tapped bass horn project on the internet using TWO of the correct (and expensive) 8" heavy duty drivers... The next 'cheapest' equivalent tapped bass horn is the Daily Sound Labs TH mini at $1,300 bucks..This is about a grand less and performs equally well.. The bass from this thing HITS like larger diameter subs do. ....It's fast, has nice impulse response, is smooth and even, and just plain seems "Musical", so if used for home hi fi, it'll blend well with even the most expensive of systems.. It's built to internet project specs and size, and the performance is incredible for 2-8" heavy duty woofers.. I MEASURED 122.5dB@40 Hz with this one.,. Built from 3/4" 7 ply birch plywood, and glued with URETHENE based adhesive, (((not that environmentally friendly white crap that is one step stronger than caulking))), this glue is HEAVY DUTY... it's screwed together as well.. It doesn't have any rattles or buzzing, this one is a BEASTLY little enclosure, with all of the "re-inforcements" internally... She has two 1/4" input jacks, and has 2 corner rollers installed for ease of transport.. Good for home theater OR pro audio /church/institution/DJ use/ auditoriums......This would make a KILLER sub to add to a church system and place below the stage. JF Christ himself would approve. 30x30x around 11" wide, so she's shallow and fits behind couches easily...This thing in a living room would rattle the pictures off the walls.. ..Incredible bass from an 11" wide box..great for home audio too....any questions just ask.thanks
