Nakamichi TA-1 receiver in very good condition Some minor nicks in the paint on the front edge that I touched up. Description Audiophiles recognize the virtue of simplicity. The TA-1 High-Definition Tuner Amplifier was designed in recognition of this principle. To the greatest extent possible, unnecessary circuity was eliminated so that full emphasis could be placed where it belongs: on the creation of Nakamichi Sound. Compared with ordinary receivers, the TA-1 stands alone as the affordable introduction to The Sound of Nakamichi.
