Description
Pair Altec 299-16A, High frequency drivers. New LASE diaphragms installed recently, and sounding great. The LASE diaphragms are an exact copy of the original diaphragms, and sound very clear. Comes with 3 mounting studs for each driver. 2 pairs available. These came from a small movie theaters, always indoors in a dry environment. The drivers have been tested at 500hz and up to 5khz, at 10 watts with audio oscillator, with a small amplifier, and also tested with music through a 40uf polypropylene coupling capacitor, and sounding clear, and extremely efficient! DCR reading: Aproximately 10 ohms. Impedance: 16 ohms For using with 1.4 inch throat horns. There will be two packages for these drivers. The drivers will be packed in two separate 12" cube box, with thick solid Styrofoam, and front side of driver sealed, for drop protection during shipping.
