Description
Carefully and thoroughly restored. Everything works like it should. It looks good and it sounds good. HIgh quality capacitors (Panasonic, Nichicon) used throughout including WIMA film caps (high quality & $$) for 4.7uF and under anywhere in audio path. The main filter caps have also been replaced. After rebuild, it measures 42 watts/channel of clean power; well above the 26 that it's rated at. Warm White LEDs installed. These are the frosted type that diffuse the light. Much nicer than the ones most people use. Bluetooth has been added inside the case so the outside stays completely stock. This turns on/off with the main power switch. This is a high end BT board which supports AptX, AptX-HD and LDAC. The sound goes through the AUX input and it sounds good! For those concerned about the modifications needed for the addition of BT, you need not worry. I've made this modification on dozens of amps/receivers and they are still working great. No part of the receiver has been irreversibly modified. Desolder a few wires and it's like it was never there. It's important to me to keep these classics in great shape. Please look carefully at all pics. I try to show all blemishes so you know what you are getting. I've packed and shipped many audio pieces.
