This listing is for a PAIR of large passive JBL Speakers Model # SR4735A. Pictures are of the actual product - Used for my very limited "one-man-band" gigs in the 2000's in climate controlled storage since 2007. Perfect working condition. Very clean carpeting with no rips. Very well taken care of. As shown in the images, wheels and handles were applied to ease transportation. Their sound is wonderfully rendered by the very well balanced three-ways speakers: 15" Sub, 8" Midrange and HF Horn. The renowned JBL brand is synonymous with its distinctive, rich, and crystal-clear sound. I have developed a deep affinity for these speakers due to their exceptional audio quality. However, as the years pass by, I find myself facing the limitations of age, particularly when it comes to carrying large equipment. Consequently, I have made the decision to downsize my audio setup. These speakers are perfect for large recording studios, home theaters, nightclubs, DJs, or bands, where they can deliver an impressive and immersive audio experience. The 15-inch speakers boast outstanding bass response, eliminating the need for an additional subwoofer. However, if you pair them with a high-quality 18-inch sub, the resulting sound becomes truly massive. The inclusion of an 8-inch mid-range speaker serves a specific purpose: to enhance the warmth and balance of the mid-range frequencies, which are often uneven in typical 2-way systems. When these speakers were initially released by JBL, they were considered top-of-the-line portable options, just a step below the massive concert venue systems. It is quite rare to come across a meticulously maintained matched pair of these 4735A speakers. =================================== From the JBL Site; SR4735A 380 mm (15 in) Three-Way Sound Reinforcement System. Utilizing a cone transducer for midrange reproduction, the SR4735A yields a much warmer sonic character. This makes it ideal for use as a keyboard or electronic drum monitor system as well as for recorded music playback. It can also be used as a general purpose P.A. loudspeaker in rooms where the audience is seated closer to the loudspeakers (less than 125') and sound quality is more important than projection. Frequency Range (-10dB): 35 Hz - 20 kHz Power Capacity (Continuous Pink Noise); 600 watts RMS Nominal Impedance: 4 ohms Sensitivity2 (1 W @ 1 m): 99 dB Nominal Dispersion: 90°H x 40°V Crossover Frequency; 600 Hz; 2.8 kHz COMPONENTS: LF Driver: 2226G MF Driver: 2119H HF Driver: 2417H HF Horn: 2371 SPL: Sound pressure level 99dB/W/m More technical info here: SIZE & WEIGHT; Dimensions (HxWxD): 921 x 635 x 460 mm, 36 1/4 x 25 x 18 in Net Weight: 41.8 kg (92 lb) BIAMP OPERATION; Recommended Crossover Freq.: 800 Hz - 1.2 kHz LF Power3/Nominal Impedance: 600 watts/4 ohms HF Power3/Nominal Impedance: 150 watts/8 ohms
