The Monitor Audio RSW-12 is a compact, high-performance powered subwoofer featuring a 500-watt Class-D amplifier and a 12" front-firing C-CAM driver in a sealed cabinet. Designed for both music and home cinema, it offers 40-120 Hz variable crossover, 0/180-degree phase control, and three EQ settings (Music/Movie/Impact), delivering deep, tight bass in a compact form. It is housed in an attractive Rosewood cabinet, so unlike most subs--which kind of beg to be hidden--this one is pretty enough to display. This sub is in Very Good condition, with just a few nicks here and there (see pix) but it functions well, pumping out taut, crisp bass. Woofer: 12-inch C-CAM® (Ceramic-Coated Aluminum/Magnesium) high-excursion driver with 3-inch long-throw voice coil. Amplifier: 500 Watts (RMS) Class-D with switch-mode power supply. Frequency Response: 21Hz - 120Hz (typically), with 27Hz/21Hz (EQ1/EQ2) lower limits. Cabinet Design: Sealed (acoustic suspension) for precise bass, with internal bracing. DSP/EQ: Three pre-set modes: Impact, Movie, Music. Inputs: LFE (RCA), Stereo Line Level (RCA), 12V trigger (3.5mm jack). Weight: ~56 lbs (25.5 kg).
