1998 Ampeg SVT-410HLN 4x10 Bass Enclosure – Made in USA (SLM Era) – 500W @ 4 Ohms This legendary piece of low-end history: the Ampeg SVT-410HLN. If you know Ampeg, you know the significance of the St. Louis Music (SLM) era. This cabinet was built in the USA in September 1998, during the timeframe when build quality and component selection were at their absolute peak before production moved overseas. Unlike standard cabinets, the HLN model is a high-fidelity workhorse. It features four custom-designed 10-inch speakers that deliver that unmistakable Ampeg 'growl,' paired with a high-frequency horn and an adjustable L-Pad level control on the back. This allows you to dial in everything from modern, snappy 'slap' tones to dark, vintage thud with a quick turn of a dial. Rated at 500 Watts RMS (1000W Program) at 4 Ohms, this cab is designed to pull the maximum power out of your head. It’s equipped with professional Neutrik Speakon and 1/4" parallel jacks, ensuring a secure connection for high-wattage rigs. It’s built like a tank with recessed handles and heavy-duty casters, ready to go from the studio to the stage tonight. Condition: Excellent Speakers are healthy, the horn is crisp, and the Tolex shows only the honest wear you’d expect from a well-loved professional rig. Don't settle for the modern lightweight imports when you can own the real-deal American iron." "Interesting Fact" While the SVT-410HLN looks similar to the common SVT-410HE, they are internally completely different animals. The "HLN" and "HLF" models are ported/vented enclosures, whereas the "HE" is a sealed box. So because of this porting, your SVT-410HLN can actually reproduce frequencies all the way down to 28Hz. To put that in perspective, a standard 4-string bass's lowest note (E) is about 41Hz. This cabinet is engineered to literally produce "sub-bass" frequencies that you feel in your chest more than you hear with your ears—making it one of the few 4x10 cabs that can truly compete with a massive 8x10 "fridge" in terms of depth.
