JL Audio Fathom f113 v2 13.5″ Subwoofer The JL Audio Fathom f113 v2 is a 13.5″ sealed-enclosure subwoofer built around the same W7-HT driver and switching amplifier technology used in JL Audio’s flagship Gotham subwoofer line, delivering 3,000 watts of short-term power from a compact cabinet suited to larger listening environments. The W7-HT drive unit features extreme excursion capability through a combination of DMA-optimized motor and suspension geometry, W-Cone construction, FCAM voice coil alignment, and dual-path thermal management via Elevated Frame Cooling and a Radial Cross-Drilled Pole-Piece—the result is a subwoofer capable of both very deep extension and high output without thermal compression. A complete set of studio-grade signal processing controls is accessible on the front panel, including a variable low-pass filter, variable phase, switchable polarity, Extreme Low Frequency trim, and JL Audio’s Digital Automatic Room Optimization (D.A.R.O.) system, which uses an included laboratory-grade microphone and onboard DSP to automatically correct in-room frequency response. The f113 v2 is finished in gloss black and ships with a removable fabric grille.
