Description
The Hitachi SR-600 is a vintage AM/FM stereo receiver produced between 1970 and 1971. It was released during a period when Hitachi was establishing its presence in the United States and is noted for its classic aesthetic, its robust build and "sleeper" status in the audiophile community. This one is in great shape, with a fresh coat of gloss paint on the chassis. However, the panel lights are quite dim as shown in photos. New owner may considering upgrade to LED's. Power Output: ~35-37 watts per channel (RMS) Total Harmonic Distortion (THD): 0.5% Frequency Response: 7Hz to 80,000Hz Speaker Impedance: 8Ω Input Sensitivity: 2.7mV (mic), 3mV (MM), 200mV (line) Signal to Noise Ratio: 85dB (MM), 95dB (line) Weight: 20 pounds Inputs: Phono (MM), Tape, AUX Service History: No service records were included from the prior owner.
