This is a highly collectible piece and great examples like these are increasing in value every year. McIntosh did not make many tube integrated models, making this a collectors piece from the early 1960’s and one of the most sought after tube integrated amps from McIntosh. With its hybrid layout consisting of a solid state preamp and tube power amp, it's a very intriguing piece from McIntosh. Capable of delivering 30 WPC cleanly and can drive most speakers well, Particularly this unit has been serviced and fully recapped, 3 can capacitors 1 paper capacitor are very high-end replacement parts, all the power tubes and new and matching as quad, Electro-harmonic 7591, made in Russia, Unit was just fully serviced and had all of his controls cleaned with DeoXit D5 & F5 also lubricated with DeoXit D100 & F100, and Bias adjustment set to factory service manual settings. These are highly sought after, sound fantastic and look absolutely amazing. Cosmetically: Chrome chassis little rust but all letters are visible, everything else is in very good cosmetic condition.
