Pair of vintage Tannoy System 800A powered nearfield studio monitors, made in the UK. These feature Tannoy’s 8” Dual Concentric point-source drivers and built-in bi-amplification. The System 800A was designed as a professional nearfield reference monitor for recording, broadcast and post-production applications. Features include: 8” Tannoy Dual Concentric drivers Active/powered design 90W RMS LF + 90W RMS HF amplification per monitor 44 Hz–20 kHz frequency response Balanced combination XLR/¼” input +4 dBu / -10 dBu input level selection LF and HF contour controls Free-space / half-space LF adjustment Front bass-reflex ports 110/115V configuration Made in the UK Both monitors are in excellent cosmetic condition with only minor signs of use consistent with age.
