Kenwood KR-9600 AM / FM Stereo Receiver

Description

MONSTER Vintage Kenwood KR-9600 Stereo Receiver. This is amongst one of the largest receivers ever made from the golden age of during the receiver wars ! This unit puts out 160 W per channel into 8 ohms and just recently had all of its pots and switches cleaned with DeOxit and then treated with faderlube where necessary. Unit powers on, relay engages and sounds excellent - working as it should. Please see images as they too are part of the description. One thing I did notice is that some of the spring push buttons are a little loose and need to be re-inserted back in their slot(s) this does not affect the sound at all and I’m sure they just need a little glue which I have not done. Overall very nice piece with tons of power and up to 3 sets of speakers can be connected !
