Focal Twin6 Be 6.5" 3-Way Powered Studio Monitor with Free IOSAcoustics Stand, Owned by Bob Rupe of Cracker This Focal Twin6 Be 6.5" 3-Way Powered Studio Monitor was gently owned by the late, great Bob Rupe, former bassist for Cracker. It's in very good cosmetic shape with normal scratches on one side and is in 100% working condition! Comes with a free IOSAcoustics stand (a $109.00 value)! The original power cable was absent, but a replacement is included. Comes in its original shipping box. Bob played with the popular 1990s alternative rock band from roughly 1994-1999 and appeared on several recordings including The Golden Age and Gentleman's Blues. He was also a founding member of The Silos and went on to record with House of Freaks, Gutterball, Danny and Dusty and Sparklehorse. Sadly, he passed on March 3, 2025, but he leaves behind a collection of work that will live on in the hearts and minds of his fans. The excellent articulation of the bass and midbass registers, even at very high sound levels, makes it an unavoidable reference for engineers who require absolute transparency. Furthermore, the design of the Twin6 Be permits a high-SPL while, at the same time, offering a stable tonal balance. One of the two 6.5" woofers works in large band (midrange–bass) whereas the other reproduces from 40 to 150Hz. This creates a bass that preserves all the signal dynamics, without any masking effect in the midrange, thereby keeping all its neutrality and transparency. Additional control of the bass register is accomplished by fine-tuning on the control plate on the back of the Twin6 Be in order to obtain a perfect mirror configuration with its mate.
