Description

This member of JBL's CBT Series, the CBT 100 LA is a line array column loudspeaker that features pattern control for both speech and music. This 39" straight line array comes with 16 x 2" drivers plus JBL's patent-pending Constant Beamwidth Technology™ circuitry. This technology allows JBL to break new ground in performance, versatility, and affordability. Designed for venues that would typically use larger point-and-shoot speakers, the CBT models incorporate technical advancements that allow them to vastly outperform competitive systems, with a level of userfriendliness that virtually eliminates the challenges of delivering great sound. With this breakthrough in pattern control consistency, JBL utilizes complex analog delay beam-forming and amplitude tapering to accomplish superior, consistent vertical coverage without the narrow vertical beaming and out-of-coverage lobing that are typical of straight form-factor column speakers. The coverage pattern of the CBT models can be adjusted with a simple switch. This allows the CBT to meet the requirements of a very broad range of applications. The CBT's Broad Coverage Mode is excellent for mid-throw situations; while its Narrow Coverage Mode is intended for long-throw applications. A swivel (pan)/tilt wall-mount bracket is included, plus eighteen M6 inserts on the back panel fit the spacing of common third-party mounting brackets, or can be utilized to suspend the speaker using forged shoulder steel eyebolts, providing installation versatility. The CBT 100LA-LS can be installed either indoors or outdoors as the drivers are weather-treated, the fiberglass reinforced ABS cabinet is excellent for outdoor applications, external screws are stainless steel screws, and the painted aluminum grille resists rusting in the harshest conditions. The CBT 100LA-LS is available in black or white (-WH).
