Classic Sansui 5000A solid-state AM/FM stereo receiver with original wood case. This is a non-working project unit: it powers on and lights up, but there is no sound from speakers or headphones. Please review all photos carefully and ask any questions before buying. 🧼 Condition Original wood case in good vintage condition with normal wear: light scratches, small marks, and a ring on the top panel. Presents well overall. Front panel looks nice for its age: knobs and switches are present, lettering is mostly intact, dial glass and face look clean. Back panel, speaker terminals, and inputs all present (see detailed photos). Overall a solid cosmetic example that deserves a proper electronic restoration. 🔧 Service & Testing Powers on: dial lamps and indicators light up, tuning dial moves smoothly. No sound from speakers or headphones on any input (FM, AUX, etc.). I have not attempted any repair, board swap, or internal troubleshooting. No recap or restoration work has been done by me. Assume it will need a full checkup and repair (likely in the driver/output section and a general restoration due to age).
