Description
These driver/horns, woofers, and cross-over were pulled from a pair of tested S2112H monitors. These monitors were in the home bedroom (store room) for over 30 years AFTER last being used. The original owners bought them for the kids in the 80s, and the children are now in their 50’s ;) Although the cabinets were built in the south east US; the drivers, aluminum horns, and woofers were all sourced from Yamaha Japan. All components have been individually tested and swept and show good impedance. The horns are literally cast/hand ground aluminum. The woofers are also cast aluminum frame. Also, the crossover caps look fine and everything sounded fine on both monitors before I pulled these components. this original monitor built in 1983 was specified at 100 Watts RMS/200 Watts program. The woofers have 2 inch voice coil’s, and the drivers are screwed (*AND glued) to the horns. One of the woofers does show a few slight spots were something was probably splashed on it. See the pictures for condition of units which are otherwise in excellent condition. I clean the horns down to the last 1” of the throat, but will let a buyer finish that job however they like. I just dusted the woofers with a detail brush. Everything will be packed meticulously and put in a very sturdy box and shipped for $25 to the US 48.
