Description
Pair Altec 299-8A, High frequency drivers. Comes with 3 mounting studs for each driver. The drivers have Altec Lancing diaphragms. 10 pairs available in the same excellent condition, latest production from 1995-1996. These came from a small movie theaters, always indoors in a dry environment. The drivers have been tested at 500hz and up to 5khz, at 10 watts with audio oscillator, with a small amplifier, and also tested with music through a 40uf polypropylene coupling capacitor, and sounding clear, and extremely efficient! DCR reading: Aproximately 5 ohms. Impedance: 8 ohms For using with 1.4 inch throat horns. I also have couple pairs of 299-16A drivers, and one single driver available. There will be two packages for these drivers. They Will be packed in two 12" cube box, with thick solid Styrofoam, and front side of driver sealed, for drop protection during shipping. Shipping Fedex, area code 07480 We can also meet half way, if you live very far to drive up to my home.
